Everyone can be a BOSS!
Kusakabe Kimbei (日下 部 金 兵卫) (1841-1934) was a Japanese photographer. He usually was called by her first name, Kimbei, because his customers, most of whom are foreigners who can not speak Japanese, find it easier Kimbei mention of the family name, Kusakabe.
Kusakabe Kimbei had worked on Felice Beato and Baron Raimund von Stillfried as coloring pictures and Kimbei assistant before finally opening his own workshop in Yokohama in 1881 at Benten-dori, and since 1889 he operates in Honmachi. He also had time to open a business branch in Ginza, Tokyo.
